Don't expect any miracles in terms of performance though. However, you can expect a much more responsive throttle and notable quicker acceleration in gears 1-3 (more in 1st, less in 3rd). I did this mod with the fidanza flywheel, so i cant tell exactly how much of an impact its actually made, but i was reasonably satisfied with the end result
I would go with Unorthodox racing pulleys. They are OEM diameter, just lighter. I put them on my celica, minus the crank pulley. They do a little for you, but its mostly just helped acceleration and throttle response. It made my motor's overall tone change very slightly, and you can hear it when you get on the gas once they are installed.
I brought a set of UR water and alternator pulley in early Feb when I came back to the States to visit some old friends.
This thing works great and I don't have any problem with it.
I don't suggest you to put it on unless you have lightened flywheel like me.
I found the engine more willing to rev high.... Happy reving.
Since it is a fact that lightened flywheel requires little more skills to start the car from dead. The engine makes nasty sounds when I pop the clutch too fast. With the pulleys on, the engine is more tolerant for mistake. Right now, even I pop my clutch too fast, the engine won't choke.
