This is what I meant as I said 'quite abstract and quite different'...
It's just too far away from the serial production and the both pictures are sooo different...

I thought there were some news as unfall said he saw the new celica prototype.

By the way, the first pic is quite ugly and the second one will never be built like this..

The picture on here is just one of the concept pics that were floating around, the actual prototype is out, its the FT-HS concept they will be making, and yeah its VERY different from the standard 7th Gen celica, but hey so is the 7th GEN from the other generations right? Hope this link works.http://www.worldcarfans.com/2070108.017/toyota-ft-hs-concept-unveiled

The Toyota FT-HS will be built. Maybe in 2009 - and how it's like with concept cars - it may look different. But it will be released under licence of Lexus, because the Toyota customers are not the target group for such an expensive, high motorized vehicle (this is what a Toyota seller told me).

EDIT: And the FT-HS is not the concept for a new Supra, it's a stand alone development.

Like i said, check it out in the german auto bild sport cars magazin, page 25, celifast mentioned it and i picked it up, its the same style and concept. I just pulled a picture off the internet so you know what it looks like, originally i think they were looking to make it the new supra, but its going to be celica.

You misunderstood me, I meant that the concept pictures of the 'new celicas' are different to each other which means that there is no clear solution for the serial production.

I saw the FT-HS live on the IAA in Frankfurt 2007 already. For me it has nothing to do with a new celica as Emetic already said.

My bad, slight misunderstanding, sorry dude, and yeah i would take the car in the back ground anyday of the week. :D

sorry, only the english forum is "dead", because we are all talking in the german topic about this car :)
